I'll see as it works from Windows when I've got my laptop booted up. As I have other reasons to use Flickr links I'm not too concerned.

I have the same issue too Michael and it's very annoying.  However I only use my iPhone these days and haven't found a suitable resize tool that works on forums.

Thanks, Ivonne. It didn't make any difference when I did a copy and paste from my Android phone, the picture still over fills the forum's frame ...

I am using Windows.  Just right clic on the image, then select copy image followed by copy-pasting....

Hi Ivonne, no apologies needed, I wasn't expecting an instant reply! That's interesting, I've used the picture upload icon on the toolbar of the forum interface (from Android devices) to upload images. Are you copying and pasting using Windows,  or Android or IOS?

Good morning, Michael,Apologies for the delayed reply but I did not check for messages yesterday evening.I have not had problems of image sizing when copy-pasting onto the new website. I just copy the image from The Telegraph and copy-paste it.  I think I had the problem once, some time ago.  I copied the image on to a Word document, reduced its size and copy-pasted it to the new website.I am sorry I cannot give you a professional solution...

Ivonne, have you found an easy way to resize the images? Whenever I upload an image it's way too big to display all the image! I notice yours always fit.Incidentally, the reason I use links to Flickr for my pictures is that I can inhibit downloads wheres that's not possible on the SW15 forum. I'm not that worried about my copyright but the forum is completely open on the Internet so I've no idea who might download them. Also, Flickr gives me metrics on the daily views of the photos.

I use the newputneysw15 web site.  It is a "newer" site  and it is easy to copy-paste pictures on it.  You can view them in this one with no problem.

Good cartoon, Ivonne.As a matter of interest, how do you  manage to post an image here? I know some other posters  put up copy and paste links to photos, which seems quite a clunky way of doing it. You seem to have figured out a much better method.
