It's still a lovely pub - but am I right in thinking it isn't quite as good for vegetarians and vegans as it used to be?

Yes! That's my memory. Your wife has reassured m I'm not fantasising!

Judy, you may be correct. I was thinking of about a recent visit but after a word with my wife I think when we went with a third vegan circa 6 months ago two of us had different large plates. I think as well as the falefal burger there was a veggie dish that could optionally be made vegan, possibly a Sunday roast.

I've obviously misremembered how it used to be. Went on Easter Sunday and definitely didn't starve, it was very nice, but it just seemed to me there was less choice for the likes of us. But, as I said, it's still a great pub!
Looking at their online menu it's much the same as before, as it was when we went there 2 or 3 months ago for a friend's birthday lunch. They've still go the one vegan large plate, the falefal burger, and several vegan or veggie small plates and side dishes. Veggies and vegans shouldn't starve there but perhaps not a lot of variety for frequent visitors? Perhaps call them to check?
