Interesting points, Andy.I fully agree that leaseholders potential to sell has been hugely damaged by the ongoing saga, which in turn complicates matters across the estate. In addition, all residents on the estate suffer from issues relating to minimal maintenance and upkeep of the properties, and uncertainty of the future; they've been in limbo for years! The amount of political posturing and flattening out of the issues involved, does absolutely nothing to move matters forward. As Yeats said, '...The best lack all conviction, while the worst are full of passionate intensity.'I can't fathom why the CoOp block with flats above was emptied, nor whose bright idea it was to paint the slogan on the facade announcing, 'home is where the art is'.Why not go the whole hog and paint; 'Home is not a place but a warm feeling', message endorsed by Wandsworth Council (and paid for by you).
