Amazing!!Still, very brave - whether you were allowed to see side vents or go to the top!

That must have been a side vent as we weren't allowed up to the top. Only volcanologists with breathing equipment were allowed all the way to the top because of poisonous sulphur fumes. This was taken back in 1998 before the recent eruptions.
