Yes, it is all a mess; whether it's Rwanda or Rochdale .... although Sir Kier's decision to throw away the seat must be the correct and only one in the end, but, yes, it would have been better to have done it yesterday?Interesting that the UK Government's independent adviser on antisemitism, Lord Mann, sees this as a national problem that's been increasing recently in all areas of UK life and something affecting all parties, not just Labour (BBC news interview this morning). Who will win the seat now? Will it be George Galloway? And, following on from Philippa's comment, Mr Sunak could always pass legislation that π=3 to simplify the maths tuition for those who claim they can't do the maths he wants them to learn. (Actually, that's one thing where I agree with Mr Sunak, it's important for everyone to learn maths.)
