Neil, when I first read this I thought you were joking, but then I realised you were serious. The OVO customers who seem to be having problems are the ones who were migrated over to them from SSE. Yes, you are right it could be a computer problem.
How is the private Facebook Group going? As I commented to you before, I don’t want to go on Facebook, so I would appreciate any updates on this.
I read the reviews everyday on Trustpilot. On one site, I filter them so I only read the bad reviews, as I don’t believe the good ones. The other Trustpilot site is virtually all bad reviews. People are at their wits end in trying to deal with OVO.
My view remains that the only way we are going to get our money back is by demonstrating outside their HQ in Bristol. Also I think there should be a demonstration outside Ofgem, who are based in London. Please could you suggest this to the Facebook Group.
I am glad I cut my losses, which I think could be around £2,000, and moved to Octopus, as I dread to think what figures OVO would have come up with now. Their bills make no sense and I cannot understand them.
There is a solicitors called CEL who won a case against OVO. I think they are no win, no fee. I wondered if anyone had an opinion on them?
