With all due respect Barbara, this and one or two other posts I have seen seem to be taking Fleur Anderson's attendance at COP28 as an opportunity to try to undermine the local Labour MP as we look towards an election. What would you expect Fleur Anderson to be doing - walking the streets to try to combat crime herself? She is an opposition MP from a party which has not been in Government for 13 years - I suspect crime rates might have something to do with the fact that police numbers nationally were cut by 20,000 between 2010 and 2019. Fleur Anderson is absolutely right to be engaged with major issues of both national and international importance, such as climate change, and good for her for attending to ensure that the people of Putney have a voice!
