It's difficult to know what the point of the article is, ignoring the journalist extra filling to come across like a ordinary bod, I would have to disagree with her conclusion.Pret sell single sandwiches (one slice of bread) precisely because for some people (not me) two is just too much.Many people would find the premium Sainsburys, M&S and Waitrose etc sandwiches also too bulky, not me.Likewise it will be the same for this sandwich, ignoring the cost it will just be too much for some people. Difficult to see the scale and the contents were not actually weighted so we are left with the picture to gauge the size but it looks comparable in size perhaps slightly bigger than one of the premium ranges mentioned above.In short it doesn't sound like we are much wiser.It looks like an excellent, quality sandwich with an expensive price tag from an expensive, high quality shop. What else would you expect??Perhaps more of a reflection on what Guardian readers are into these days??
