Free tech advice and support in Putney this Saturday from 11 till 1pm
IT and Tea, my monthly free drop-in advice clinic is back, this Saturday, 21st October, from 11am to 1pm at Putney Pantry next to St Mary's Church in Putney. If you think you are paying too much for your mobile phone, Sky TV or broadband, if you were thinking of a new phone, laptop or tablet, or if you don't understand your current one, come along and ask! Does your device keep popping up messages asking you to update it and you're not sure what to do? I'll talk you through it.The session is friendly and completely free as always, but if you can, please support the Pantry by purchasing a drink or a snack. Peppa the dog and I will be at the long table from 11, ready to try and answer any questions you might have. No question is too simple or silly. You will not be tech shamed here!To get you started here are a couple of things to know:1. Scams - the rule is simple and it's this: If you have to ask if it's a scam, it's a scam. Follow this and you'll stay safe.2. Nobody should be paying more than about £10 per month for their mobile calls, texts and data. If you are, bring along your 3 most recent bills and we can look at them. I hope to see you on Saturday. All the best Mark PhillipsPersonal Technology Consultant07808 722829
