Trinity Hospice talk, Mon 23rd Oct, 7.30pm, Community Church
The Royal Trinity Hospice is hugely involved in the community when it comes to end of life care. Until you're in the situation where you need them, you just don't know how wide ranging their role is. They rely a lot on monies raised from their shops too, as they're not fully funded. The Putney Society has organised a talk by Daniel Holloway, who is Head of Retail at the Royal Trinity Hospice. He'll talk about how they operate, the position of the shops within local communities, how sustainable retailing is at the forefront of their work, as well as how the Hospice works, and a bit about their wonderful gardens.Do come along and support them. 7.30pm Community Church, Werter Rd, SW15 2LL (opposite Sainsbury's)Monday 23 October.Refreshments availableDisabled access.
