Microsoft Teams

I wonder if anyone knows how to rid my laptop of Microsoft Teams - whatever that might be. For a few weeks now it's inhabited my laptop and it is difficult to get round it.  I don't want to chat, team up with anyone. I just want to be free of it.Thanks for any advice.

Thanks to Katrina, Michael and Ivonne. Ivonne, you're a star! It would not have occurred to me to right click, then find apps and, with some difficulty, press delete.  I think, touch wood, fingers crossed and all that, I might have got rid of the exasperating pop-up.It more or less took over the whole screen so it was difficult to see round it, if you get what I mean. So annoying if, like me, you're not a digital expert, but know you have to get to grips with things. Then wretched Microsoft intervenes!Thanks again.

Not sure if this can help your problem Elizabeth but Mac Magicians opposite the garage in Lower Richmond Rd are so very helpful and don't cost a lot. Worth a chat with them if you have the time. Hope that helps.

I hope you've managed to resolve it, Elizabeth. I've lost track of MS's latest offerings but I think Teams gets bundled with the latest version of MS Office and other products. Although people think of Teams as a communications tool like Zoom (and it can be an alternative to that) my understanding is that in the MS world it's meant to integrate and be a management tool for a lot of different MS products for collaborative working: Office, SharePoint, their communications replacement for Skype, etc.Because of its pervasiveness in the MS World it seems to get launched on Windows start ups; uninstalling it will stop that, not sure if it stops anything else working - I just kill it after it's started up; there's possibly an option somewhere to stop it launching but that's probably difficult to find; leaving it running in background doesn't seem to be too much of a problem.I'm not sure leaving it running is a problem unless I've missed something?

I am no expert on these matters but can you not uninstall it from the programs or apps?
