If there's adequate co tools over privacy and it allows swift deployment of police to trouble spots it should be a good thing

Yes agree David, the only problem is a camera is a camera. Would help if some Coppers walked down the road now and again. CCTV can't jump down and save you from an attack, or chase a burglar.

Appreciate there will be mixed views about this Barbara. I have no issue with more CCTV cameras if it helps to make our streets, high streets and communities safer. Personally I feel safer with it being there.
