Irritating forms

I keep hitting an irritating form on various sites for date of birth. It shows a calendar and you can't delete it and put the date in manually. It's only possible to click back month by month over the years! It's crazy! Guaranteed to give RSI!Anyone else finding this? My last one was on an NHS site.

There's one I get sent which drives me crazy.  It is an NHS one (I think) for making an appointment at the surgery and asks for my date of birth and provides the spaces to put it in.  When I put it in it tells me it isn't right!  I've had several goes at putting my DOB in with named months, with numbers and with American style numbers.  I might be wrong or not sure about some things but NOT my date of birth!I think it was designed on a bigger machine for use on a bigger machine and I am using it on a mobile phone.I now understand that instead of following the instructions to fill in my DOB in the spaces provided and visible on the screen - I should ignore that and scroll the page down to see the top of the page. However I haven't done that for myself yet as whenever I receive one of those forms my blood pressure rises and I've managed to get someone else to do it for me.  On a calm and cool day when I'm not in a rush I'll have another go!

If it is like one that annoyed me, I found that, if you clicked on a 2023 date on the calendar, it would go over to the slot. Then you could amend that date to the date, month and year that you really want. That was when trying to search on Google, on the News heading, using the custom search for dates on Tools.
