You are really lucky to have a shoe shop! Not everywhere has one and it is so important to find shoes that fit and I wasn't very successful buying online even when in desperation I bought the same style and the same size and the same make. (Although I did find out later there was a good way to return them I was feeling so sick and disappointed that I didn't realise and read all the info in the box.I also miss the department stores where you can spend ages trying different things on until you've found the best of the bunch - and have a snack and there is also a loo - so it's a relaxing enough experience with time enough to be able to make good decisions.I thought that they wanted us to spend more money (although not go into debt). Buying online I'm sure must make more waste as clothes may not work together and will be discarded without much if any wear. An awful lot of clothing is sent to Energy from Waste.

Adrian, that's a shame, need something to walk around. Not nail bars and more food shops. Clarks is the only shoe shop. I suppose no shops stops you spending your money.
