Railway pub

I had a look round today, the first day of re-opening. It's quite pleasant and I wish them all success. But. ALL THE PHOTOGRAPHS OF OLD PUTNEY HAVE GONE!!! You will recall that PutneySW15 spearheaded a successful campaign to save them when Revolution took over, but alas, we've taken our eye off the ball here. I spoke to the duty manager (Rafael), who promised to let me have, tomorrow (Sat), details of the contact at Revolution - who apparently took "everything" with them.

There was also a lovely stained glass window half-way up the interior staircase in the old Railway Pub. I seem to remember that it had an Art Deco vibe to it. After the Revolution opened, I went looking for it on Ebay, and there it was, on sale for about £1,500 if I remember. Look for your Putney photos on Ebay...
