Mick Lynch

I read today that Mick is calling a strike to prevent the closure of ticket offices.Is this the same Mick Lynch who has closed the railways down numerous times in the recent past ruining many working people's Bank Holidays, and is threatening to carry on doing so for years to come till he gets what he wants ?Under these circumstances, who will need a ticket !

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-61634959Interesting read describing the pay rates of Mick's members.Could you live on c.£45,000 pa ?The unions say this does not include cleaning staff.When was the last time you saw any cleaning being done ?At Southfields station the greatest level of activity seems to take place in the glass fronted office opposite the ticket machines.The effort the staff there put into using their thumbs to check their mobile phones is fantastic !Perhaps though they are just contacting their friends and families to make sure they have all received their free travel cards courtesy of Mr Khan, but paid for by you and me !
