Just now - car window smashed and laptop bag stolen - Dryers Lane URR

A guy just popped into Sainsbury's to pick up a few things.A couple of young people on bikes one witness said.Any CCTV of the area please save.No victim blaming nonsense thank you- people commit these crimes not squirrels!

That's a shame about the car Jenny.The Sainsbury's camera on Dryers Lane  points towards the entrance I believe, so I'm not sure if that will be any good.Unfortunately crime has gotten out of control and the Mayor doesn't have a plan. There are very few visible police and the gap between the policing people want and what we are getting is becoming wider.That said I wouldn't want one of mine to join the force and be at risk.

Exactly thesame thing happened the night before in Bendemeer Road.  Back window of little merc smashed to grab a bag while we were half way through loading, before 9pm in full view.It's very upsetting, we will have to scrap the car now because uneconomic repair.  All you get is a crime mumber

Not that long ago, thefts similar to these were considered very common in uneducated and uncivilised foreign places......  Hmmmm
