Traffic Wardens

Don't know if anybody else has seen any not our usual Traffic Wardens. Yesterday Lunch time 3 Traffic Wardens were walking down the road I live, 2 on my side of the road and 1 on the other side. I asked were they ordinary traffic wardens as they had high viz jacket on top of their Uniform with written on the back NO IDLING. He said yes they were traffic wardens.

Perhaps they were Robots and if they stopped on the pavement you had to push them from behind, to start them up again.

Perhaps they hadn't realized that they were in the ULEZ zone and compliant cars are clean according to Labour & the Mayor.

I've seen a number of traffic wardens wearing jackets with the "NO IDLING" text on the back. I'm not sure we have regular traffic warden. It's not uncommon to see them riding on bikes scanning parked cars for a lack of permits.

Andy, we usually have 3 regular traffic wardens. These yesterday haven't seen before walking down the road, never seen them with NO IDLING written on their backs.  Will have to look if I see our regular wardens. Or is it a new thing.
