Funniest Joke of the Edinburgh Fringe

“I started dating a zookeeper but it turned out he was a cheetah”. Is this funny?   I don’t think so.

David, maybe your humour is more suited to the current Edinburgh fringe. I am probably a bit stuck in the past when it comes to what makes me laugh on stage.  Billy Connelly, Dame Edna and Victoria Wood made me cry with laughter.  Seen too many comedians live to list them all, but Vic and Bob, Jasper Carrott and Ken Dodd very funny too.

Tim Vine won funniest joke at the Edinburgh Fringe a few years back with: ”I’ve decided to sell my Hoover …….well it was just collecting dust.” Tim Vine really is funny and deservedly know as the “King of the One Liners”.
