ULEZ scrappage schemes - confusion

Wandsworth Launches its Own ULEZ Scrappage Scheme... will only be open to residents in receipt of certain means-tested benefits, and those registered as carers.Is this an admission that the other Labour Party scheme is insufficient or just a publicity exercise a couple of weeks before ULEZ?A car magazine published some recommendations about second hand cars. I checked their number one recommendation. There was one suitable car advertised nationally, which was 170 miles away.I did not check if it was still available or what actual service history was available.The others, and there were only a handful that weren't for scrap or repair reported issues with transmission or engine. All had starship mileage, high number of owners and all but one above had no service history.Obviously buying a almost 20 year old car with no service history would be an extremely risky gamble more so without basic paperwork.I didn't check the price of a return ticket to Bradford or the cost of driving it back to London.

A company vehicle you would have to pay £5000 or more VAT and that's apart from the price of the vehicle. Then wait to the next tax year to get this back.

1,000 a 1,000 what a load of b=====. ha ha.  That's the price of an expensive bike these days.  How many companies with vans will be able to continue their business. How many people voted him in now wish they hadn't. Scaffolder's, builders,food delivery, prescription delivery, parcel delivery. It goes on and on. Midwife's, careers, relations.
