Putney Station Ambulances, Fire Engines, Police.

Michael, actually the helicopter did land in the park in Putney bridge rd.  My friend was walking her dog, it only landed for a few minutes.  Has anybody else heard anymore about the accident.

I would think Wandsworth Park is one of the few places in Putney an air ambulance could land. It's probably closer to the station than Wimbledon Common or Putney Common? And an ambulance with police outriders could get there quickly via Disraeli Road (ok, wrong way), Oxford Road, Putney Bridge Road?

It could be.  I admit I assumed there had been two different incidents in Putney.

Could be an Air Ambulance for the Station, trying to find somewhere to land. There were a lot of vehicles at the station.

Michael I, in his post at 12:48 above, mentioned:  "I was told by a friend walking a dog in Wandsworth Park between around 10:30 to 11:30 this morning that there was an air ambulance and emergency vehicles in Wandsworth Park - and I heard lots of sirens (probably in Putney Bridge Road) while on a Zoom call at that time."

We went past the station at 12.30. Police sitting on cab rank, police van outside station, and around the corner. also a grey ambulance outside station and a railway support van.  Asked the man collecting food outside Sainsbury's he said a lady jumped in front of a train.

The clairvoyance device on my tablet seems to have stopped working.
