I was referring specifically to Pride and, as I said before, the clue is in the name. It's not a protest, it's a celebration. Homosexuality has been legal for many years and gay people are a protected minority. The battleground there now is over trans rights (the "T" in LBGT...) and I'm not sure where that will end up. Anti-fossil fuel demonstrators seem to want to target anything that gets attention - sport, art, commuting - I don't see why you expect them to give Pride a free pass.There are still anti gays around I admit - there are indeed bigots around of every hue - especially on social media where they don't have to stand up for their bigotry in person.
