I have done it in the last few weeks, at the Wimbledon P.O. Got a passport photo (digital one) from Snappy Snaps. Took the link for the photo plus my old passport along to the P.O. Some questions from the person at the Post Office, which he entered online. Paid. Passport Office sent a few progress emails. Passport delivered in a couple of weeks. A day or so later, the old one was delivered too.Seemed pretty straightforward. I assume that I could have done it myself and saved some of the money, but I have such a long list of things which I could do, but somehow don't get round to, and the passport had expired in 2019, so ...As for security, well, the passport arrived at my address. Beyond that, who knows? If Mr Putin wants a digital pin-up, I'll sign it (digitally).
