John Lewis Partnership Card

Has anyone else with one of these had emails talking about imminent changes (on 17th June?) Friends with Partnership Cards have not heard anything.   Elaborate scam? Or just that I'm higher up the alphabet than they are?

Thank you Adrian and Rose,That makes sense.  Why couldn't they have put it so clearly!  Also why am I on their list - my old card is long gone, my present one has two or more years to run!Those last two are rhetorical questions, by the way, I'm not expecting any answers!

Yes, they are finally closing the old cards completely.  They left them open so that people had time to pay them off.

It's about any remaining balances on the old HSBC linked cards that haven't been usable since last year. Basically tidying up who is legally responsible. The new cards carry on as now.

Thank you for the link Maxine.  No my card not due to expire till 2027!Relieved to know others are puzzled.  It's very confusing.  I've had the email twice now.  I'll wait and see what happens on the designated date.  In among all the waffle it seems to say the card will be closed down.  Feel quite persecuted!
