OVO Energy - Mail Online

Mail Online Money Section: ”I was switched from SSE to OVO and now my energy bills are mind-boggling ….can you help me work out what I actually owe” The reporter, Helen Crane, has tried to help the pensioner who contacted her, but has found the bills confusing and that the figures don’t add up. So it’s not just me and Neil.   I had just typed up a letter of complaint to OVO about my latest bill, but now I am going to contact Helen Crane too.  She is asking for people who are having problems with OVO Energy to contact her on: helen.crane@thisismoney.co.U.K.

BBC Journalist, Nathan Heath, is also asking for people having problems with OVO Energy to contact him.   On the BBC website “OVO Energy customers hit by horror bill of up to £116,000”.  A lady received bills ranging from £500 to £116,000 for a month’s usage. Also, there is now a Facebook group for angry OVO customers and there are plenty of them. OVO bills are very confusing or lacking information.  I was asked for £82.00 and have not seen it appear on our final bill nor given any proper explanation what it is for.  There were no exit fees applicable on our account, but I had to pay it to leave OVO.  I feel like I have been mugged.
