Can we have a Pharmacy in the LRR please?

I’ve noticed that the premises occupied by Douglas & Gordon is still vacant after some months. The Lower Richmond Road lacks a good pharmacy. We have an excellent new fruiterer, a great butcher, a terrific branch of Sainsbury’s, lots of estate agents and coffee shops and much else besides. Just no chemist, which is a pity. Is there a pharmacist out there who could take over the D&G shop?

Great idea!  We used to have one.  It closed, and has never been replaced.  I was told that the reason for this is that there is some sort of control on the number of pharmacies, and a replacement was not permitted.  It makes little sense to me, and may not be an accurate?
