Cos we can afford £4m at the moment. He keeps pleading poverty on tfl musf because cheaper way or maybe gradually over a number of years.

Ed, but if they split the District Line they wouldn't be able to redirect Wimbledon trains to Ealing Broadway or Tower Hill trains to Edgware Road just before they reach Earl's Court :-)
Line names were historically useful especially when associated with something visual such as colour.I'm not really convinced now that we have so many lines as they have been split etc that the idea is scalable. Many lines use the same track and stations on the tube. Perhaps it's time to split up the district line?Meanwhile here is the TfL toilet map https://content.tfl.gov.uk/toilets-map.pdf
