Ancient Greeks: science and wisdom, at the Science Museum. The second known oldest mechanical calendar in the world- a Byzantine sundial-calendar 400-600 CE. This and the Antikythera mechanism were possibly modelled on an earlier astronomical model by Archimedes which has not survived. https://flic.kr/p/2n4jZ7K
