A couple of really young Doctors telling young children not to ring 999 if they don't feel well. This is really stupid. I think a child should be encouraged to ring 999 if they don't feel well or in case a parent collapses. Most children anyway don't want to go to Hospital they are scared. What they are saying is not to let children ring for something stupid. How does a child know if it is stupid or not with all this sepsis about. One of the Doctors was really young and full of himself. This was on ITV News this morning. Also years ago in my kitchen I had a small electric fire, I opened a draw and an envelope dropped out on to the fire and started burning, my son ran into the living room and dialed 999, he was young. I heard him shouting to me so I ran and took the phone from him. The operator ask if I was OK and said don't tell him off.In other words he was very clever and a good boy. How times have changed.
