Putney High Street's eco(nomic)system

I am puzzled watching shops going out of business and identical shops opening 50 yards further, like there's any hope to do better than the previous one!?Kiwisun tanning salon shut down, new one opens next to McDonalds.Lebanese restaurant Bosa dying a slow death after being opened one year and rumors of a new one opening close to McDonalds. That won't go well.Asian restaurants opening everywhere, but Bone Daddies and Wok Wok closed...Chicken Shop and Sushi Co empty even with the novelty effect.The worst is that none of these new restaurants are trying to open in a former restaurant (Foodilic/OCtagreen are the exception) where all the stuff like kitchen specs, ventilation etc are already in place! More installation costs. Nonsense

Just go to Bosa on LRR - no belly dancing and BYOB

Marc, prior to moving to London I once phoned a taxi firm. Turns out they didn't actually have any taxis for hire and they didn't want calls.  I wonder if like some of these here-one-minute-gone-the-next fast food etc places they are mere fronts to get cash into the system.  I imagine that on paper some of the businesses on PHS that were almost always empty were, in theory at least, doing incredible trade.

Is it free of belly dancers? Also we really like Bosa because it has really good vegan options

Slightly off topic - apologies.We really like Bosa and would eat there more but we only tend to eat out at weekends and that's when they have their belly dancers trying to drag people out of their chairs.Tragically my belly dancing skills are not to the level where I want to display them to a restaurant full of strangers so are forced to avoid :(Go occasionally during the week and it is very quiet indeed.
