Thornhill House, Deodar Road

I was interested in the piece in the Bulletin about Thornhill House, which I had always assumed was the home and studio of Alan Thornhill, the local sculptor, who gifted many of his pieces to Putney.  They are sited in public view by the river and in Wandsworth Park etc.  But when I read the piece in the Bulletin there was no mention of him.  Is there really no connection?  I didn't think Thornhill was a very common name - and two artists?
