Another sign of national decline

Yahoo News:-"But Kiwi shoe polish, once a household name, is soon to be a thing of the past, after the manufacturer decided to stop selling the product in the UK.The firm said the decline in the habit of polishing shoes - as a result of growing numbers of people working from home and the rise of ubiquitous trainers - has led it to focus on other markets."

Oops - that shows how often I clean my shoes, although to be honest vegan imitation leather shoes often look great after a wipe with a damp cloth. And I must admit smart shoes are normally reserved for weddings, funerals, posh formal dinners, Glyndebourne, etc - most punters at IT trade shows wear comfy shoes these days :-)

Where was it manufactured?I think many of us can remember the Cherry Blossom factory in Chiswick.On the plus side it is unlikely to impact the boot lickings that  can produce an alternative shine looking at some of the honours handed out by each side:)
