Does anyone know if the local sorting office has a backlog of post to deliver or are deliveries as normal? thx.

There seem to be issues with the service to swap old stamps for the new ones with barcodes:http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/news/article-11577295/Royal-Mail-stamp-swap-fiasco-Customers-report-missing-replacements.htmlIs this more deliberate poor service to drive snail mail users to alternative services?

There IS more money to be made in the parcels business but they are obligated by law to carry and deliver both letters and parcels. The more the service is disrupted the more alternatives everyone finds.https://www.theguardian.com/business/2022/nov/17/royal-mail-reports-219m-loss-as-strike-action-takes-its-toll

thanks Michael, that would explain just 2 deliveries in 3 weeks. RM seems determined to put themselves out of the letter delivery business :(

Word on the street is that parcels are being given priority by PO managers and that letters are being held back and bundled together in weekly or even fortnightly deliveries - and that seems to be the pattern behind our deliveries in East Putney. That's apparently a management decision not a CWU action.
