Is a rose still a rose?

When rich people, who have been giving large sums of money to the Tory Party, stop doing so and instead give large sums of money to the Labour Party, do they stop being "donors" and instead become "paymasters"?

Really?Funding of unions has gone down as many of those who could really do with the support of unions can no longer afford to pay union dues. There are also many who don't have unions in their workplaces.  Whose idea is it to have workers so poorly paid that they also are in the position of not being able to survive without also having to claim benefits and use foodbanks?

Funding from unions I believe has been going down as they question the value returned.Perhaps an open auction may be the answer?

Not too sure what a rose has to do with contributions to whichever party!But it is true that donors to the Tory Party are called the same as to those in the Labour Party.Paymasters are unions, these are donors too - but with other interests too.

Is just declaring the amounts and from whom large party political donations are received enough.  Some donors seem to want more.  Where is the line drawn - or isn't it?
