That comment of Barbara's made me consider buying a copy of Orlando's Flying Carpet - a favourite childhood book - but I find it is listed for sale costing hundreds now - a real carpet might be cheaper!

Yep, unfortunately they park the trucks straight into the back alley which is an access for residents, a fire access and a fire exit for Putney Exchange

People can be seen fitting out the shop this morning.

I think anything beats a long term empty unit (think M&S) so was quite relived to see a shop open there, especially one that doesn't take bets or sell mobile phone accessories/vapes.

I assume it is the flying carpets and not the shoes?Having multiple shoes for the same function is a serious addictive condition suffered by many with huge environmental & storage implications. As soon as XR have a just stop another pair of shoes, I'm joining!

Might be able to fly on them, can't eat them. Need clothes and shoes shops.

Must admit I had never heard of Tapi, just looked it up, seems they have loads of shops, carpet, rugs, and laminate. After googling wouldn't have thought Poundland site was big enough.
