Something different

I don't want to go in there, but when we drive past to go shopping on a Saturday, there are usually a load of young girls in a Bar near the old White Lion, called PEACHY Queen. There is usually a drag fellow on the disco, with a massive wig and leather boots. Surprised this is in an afternoon.

You have both lost me I only said the man doing the disco music, was in drag. I didn't imply so were everybody else. You can't really miss it as you turn into the LRR, as he screams out on his mike.

It has a website and I see its other branch is in Bournemouth. https://www.peachyqueenbar.co.uk/ It does ask queens to book a table ... interpret that how you want. I'll stick with the Green Man or the Rocket, etc depending who I'm meeting, but it sounds a fun place for those of younger years :-) As Freddie said why shouldn't drag queens work in the day time? Langtry and Wilde seem to get a mention as they knew how to party and enjoy themselves!

Do you think drag queens shouldn’t work in the daytime? Worried they might corrupt the innocent? Or maybe it’s the do aspect?
