It's apparently known as Pye or Pie corner, where the Great Fire of London was halted. I worked near there a few years ago but must have been very busy as never paid any attention to it; paid more attention to it recently when strolling around before a concert in a City church:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Boy_of_Pye_CornerA warning not to eat too many pies :-)
