Yes, there is and should be no geographical bar to previous residents participating in the forums; however, if they're open to some non local residents it's not then fair to try and exclude other individuals because one disagrees with them, is it? (After all, Michael Brown who, as far as I know, is not a Putney resident is tolerated on this forum by its owners even though many disagree with his opinions and other platforms might block him?)Obviously one's free to disagree with others opinions or challenge facts if one believes they are incorrect, but personally I don't believe blocking individuals will help. Others might disagree … :-)I caught a snippet about this on R4 recently. A new book by Matthew Syed on how to agree to disagree kindly and confidently... "Young people should be taught to challenge the argument and demolish it, not the person who’s arguing. We don’t all need to agree but surely we can disagree without becoming sworn enemies?"
