RS vows to fix LS's mistakes.. and appoints Damien Green

Rishi Sunak has pledged to fix "mistakes" made under Liz Truss's leadership and warned of "difficult decisions" ahead, in his first speech as prime minister.It sounds good - but in practice, what a let down!!Cruella, Gove, Raab, Clevely...  need I go on?Is there no talent at all in the backbenches - or has RS run out of people in his phonebook?

Yes, although I'm not sure I'd relegate Gove to that list. While there are many things I dislike about Gove's political views, the work done and the law his department developed around the cladding scandal seems to be a good attempt to deliver what was promised (ok, I know it's still early days).But looking back at the list, if Sunak wants to earn my trust that isn't a good start ☹️
