Agree Maxine! You can buy Nuud gum (were on Dragon's Den), which tastes and feels just like other gum, but is plastic free!! Apparently each piece of ordinary chewing gum is the equivalent of a plastic straw! There is one pink chewing gum bin on a lamp post at the station. Need them on every lamp post. Pavements are cleaned by the Council, with top up deep cleans by Positively Putney on sections that are particularly bad. I just don't know what people do that makes the pavements so dirty!
