Anyone know of a local charity that wants furniture, preferably one that collects? Thank you

I think it was Purple Carrot. Some initiatives were supported by grants applied for and won by LAs from DEFRA as an encouragement towards reducing waste and greater sustainability.

https://wrwa.gov.uk/reuse-workshop/also Emmaus apparently collects (or did) - check out - number on the website above. There used to be a furniture upcycling/restoration company called Purple something - Parrot? I think in Richmond. This was one of those organisations that was supported by the Local Authority. Ealing had another one several years ago too but sadly long gone.I was having trouble posting earlier and BHS = BHF!
Salvation Army?

Is there a charity in Richmond that takes furniture? I think I once saw their van, but I forgot to write down the details.

https://www.charityretail.org.uk/charity-shops/wandsworth-oasis-london-127-mitcham-lane-sw16-6ly/This is the other place I found listed on the Wandsworth website that collected furniture. We found that the BHS was so successful that they had become rather fussy and so itvwas sldo useful to find somewhere else as well. The BHS website was very useful though. We found a brilliant charity based in Hammersmith called Petit Miracles where they run courses teaching people to upcycle/mend small pieces of furniture who were also collecting. This can be useful for those pieces that need a bit of tlc that fail the BHS standard. You'll find them inspirational even if they say you are too far awOr maybe there is somewhere else similar in Wandsworth.
