Perhaps you are right. I have had instances where the wasp suddenly appears next to my face and I agree, I shoo it off!!!

Ivonne, I suspect that's usually because people are waving their hands around as soon as they spot a wasp? :-)

Oh, I have never seen a wasp "relax" on somebody's finger!  I normally see them flying around, very near me or somebody else but never landing on anybody's hand.  Amazing!!
