A couple of facts:Masks were primarily introduced to protect others not the wearer against infection. There does seem to be some conflicting research as to how effective they are but the conclusion seemed to be that as there seems to be no harm in wearing them then any marginal benefit makes them worthwhile. (The main negative is that they're a nuisance.)Many survived without contracting CV19. Some research suggested some people had T-cell immunity from having previous coronavirus type infections. I went for two years without contracting it and I was going out to events, the pub, etc when allowed although I was observing the prescribed precautions. Fortunately when I did CV19 it was minor, like a mild cold, probably thanks to the three jabs.Obviously, Freddie's, your and my stories are purely three anecdotal records; one needs to look at the overall global statistics: yes, a few people do have adverse reactions to vaccines, with some deaths but a significantly greater number of people have died from the virus while research shows the vaccines do significantly reduce the risk from and attenuate the spread of the virus. But you believe what you want.Happy to be of service.Michael[And if you meant another Michael be more precise and less sloppy in your posts: it does nothing for your credibility. Have a nice day :-) ]
