Yes, we got the email yesterday. Sad, it feels like the end of an era in Putney and feeling slightly guilty as I seem to have been saying for a while we must go there again, but too many places to go and things to do … (and we did have some deliveries during lockdowns to try and support them). I suppose running a family businesses like that over several decades must be a tremendous effort and strain, particularly in recent times.
