Load of unwanted clothes - fully wearable.

Does anyone know of anyway to locally get rid of lots of clothes (old shirts, trousers) all completely wearable (some may have a tiny hole) but maybe not fashionable. Charity shops seemed swamped nor do I want to dump on them.

Thank you for your suggestion here Sue. Happy to go to the store directly so will add BHF to the list and also the site you mention for collection. One other local tip I've found is there is a house on Fawe Park Road that collects for male prisoners - usually has a sign outside.

Hi Simon, glad to see your name again but I do miss your no bull**** posts.😉I used to give all my donated items to BHF in Putney and they would collect which was essential for me.  However they had to stop collections for a while so I found a charity called Help2Collect and they were excellent. Their stipulations were that clothes must be clean and in wearable condition and there should be two bags minimum for collection.  Here's their link: https://www.help2collect.co.uk/help-2-collect/"Help 2 Collect offers a free home collection for your unwanted clothes, shoes and other items. When my Father died we took all his stuff up to St Martin's in the Fields for their homeless.. but it was a long time ago.

To add, I think the homeless could make great use of them, I wonder how I can get it to them or anyone else in need.
