Both candidates are telling bare-faced lies to the current electorate (160k Tory party members) in order to win their votes. They will face no consequences for these lies because this electorate has no further say once the winner is PM. The candidates are effectively incentivised to lie in order to win

Not really hackers. NCSC spotted a loophole in the process that could be used to change someone's vote. Hackers might be able to harvest the information from the letters and emails sent to party members but I wonder if the effort involved would make it worthwhile. It could be that someone spotted something not made public - such as the numbers to authenticate party members could be easily replicated by a "bad actor" (as they say) but that's just a wild guess on my part :-)
