Barking Howling Dog In Wadham Road?

There is a very distressed sounding dog that barks and howls every day and it sounds like it may be from a back garden in Wadham Road.  It could be in Bective but it sounds more like it's from the rear. The poor thing seems to be left outside in all weathers, even during those extremely hot temps, and at all times of day and night.  Last night it was barking loudly at 10.30 and it is currently barking and howling pitifully, it's so upsetting to hear.  It must be driving the close neighbours up the wall but more importantly it is downright cruel to leave a dog which is clearly distressed outside without attention. 😡

The dog is obviously in distress.  Possibly bought during lock-down and now the owner/s had to go back to work.  Nevertheless, someone should go and knock on the door and see what is happening.  Also, get the RSPCA involved.

This poor dog is still barking and crying! These are all terraced houses so the adjacent neighbours must be very aware of this so why haven't they knocked ion the door and confronted the owner? The noise must be very annoying to them but more importantly the dog is clearly shut outside and distressed, what is wrong with people, how can they ignore this poor dog?🤬

@Carole TannerDid you not read my original post? I don't know where the dog is and even if I did I couldn't march round and confiscate somebody's dog! Ridiculous comment.🙄

Strangely enough the barking stopped at around 7.30 last evening and I haven't heard the dog this morning so perhaps the owner is a forum reader, or maybe it's just a coincidence? Anyway if the prolonged barking, whining and howling starts up again I will report it.

Sue you could try the Environmental Services as it's to do with noise, if you have a rough idea where the noise is coming from. Or ring the RSPCA help line.  Does it sound like a large dog or small. What is worrying is if it needs food and water or the people have moved and just left it. Very sad.

HalloPlease, for Heaven's sake, get the RSPCA involved, or if not, then go and get the dog yourself and give it some tender loving care and comfort!!!!

I don't know where the dog lives. I'm hoping a next door neighbour will though.
