Yestersay had the necessity to call 111  Received a brilliant response  Apart from the actual time lapse from ambulance arrival after initial call, which was not down to 111 anyway, everything excellent  I would say though, that in a life threatening situation a much better option is to call 999, without a doubt

Hi Barbara sorry to hear this I hope everything is ok now?As you state - I think the recommendation is to call 999 if any doubt.My household had to call 999 recently and received a brilliant response. The only criticism I had was MY OWN first aid knowledge. The 999 team were excellent - extremely professional and arrived within a few minutes.
