Well, he voted against Brexit and, quoting Wikipedia: "Tugendhat holds dual British and French citizenship. His wife Annisia is a French judge and senior civil servant. Her father is Pierre Morel, a French diplomat, and currently (2022) mediator in Ukraine for the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe." So he might take a more sensible approach to negotiations with the EU?However, a friend told me he supported fox hunting, which is true (https://foxhuntingevidenceuk.com/mp-positions-on-fox-hunting/mps-sorted-by-area/) and I'm not sure about all his foreign policy views so perhaps not perfect! To be honest, I don't see him getting to the last two and, if he did, in a vote by the party members perhaps he's not sufficiently anti EU but he is an ex military white male so would that help him with the elderly members in the shires? Perhaps not, one shouldn't be prejudiced! Think I'd go back to Matt's cartoon, who can tell?
