Any dentists recommendations, please?

I do go to one but am not happy with them.  It has been privatised on many aspects and the hygienist charges have doubled.Any ideas will be most welcome!

I think the problem with many NHS hygienist is that they can only afford to do the bare minimum. It definitely is worthwhile to may for a decent hygienist. However Paul your tone was a little aggressive. Not everyone can afford it and would consider it an expense that may not be a priority when on a budget

Jane , the NHS dentist is great. I pay privately for a hygienist. That's the way it is. In days gone by you would have had all your teeth removed to avoid further treatment costs. That was popular when the NHS was first invented. Under the new Tory keader it will come again.

Pivatised in many respects! Can't afford a hygienist.You want everything on the cheap & expect the taxpayer to pick up the bill. And you wonder why dentists are leaving in droves. Why don't you just scream I don't want to pay for anything.And you live in Putney to boot. You couldn't make it up!
